Hey there and welcome to my next adventure! For majority of my life my mom has been in real estate. She started as an agent, then moved up to be a Broker manager and is now the Vice President of Brokerage at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty. For as long as I can remember I have always loved to go look at houses, decorate houses and have spent countless amounts of hours watching HGTV. I never thought this would be a career path I would want to take because, as we all say, we want to be different from our parents. I figured it was just something I would always love but never persue. That all changed about 4 months ago! I had multiple friends that were on the house hunt and I was always asking to go with them because I love to see all the different properties. This is when I called my mom and said “I want to start real estate. How do I sign up to get my license” and then the process began.
Some of you may be wondering… “well why does a blog have anything to do with real estate” so… let me tell you! I went to school at Flagler College for graphic design so I love being creative. I thought a lot about the ins and outs of real estate and said… “how do I make myself stand out” enter best friend Aubrey Alley. We came up with this idea of taking a spin on the real estate world with adding a blog and fun home content to inspire people. I want to keep you engaged. I want you to continue to follow my journey even when you aren’t looking for a home. She said “how cool would it be if you posted about all the different houses you get to see and then people can shop the different styles and pieces from everything” and this is where it all came together.
